Document Description
Project consists of installation of approx. 32.4 miles of fiber optic cable and infrastructure from its current Ridgecrest system connection in Inyokern to a connection location in Onyx to serve the Kern River Valley. Cable primarily installed underground with plowing or directional boring in ROW, prescriptive areas adjacent to ST 178 & SR 14, & at four boring locations under the road. Exceptions are vable installed on 7 new Mediacom-owned utility poles over 2 LADWP LA Aqueducts, SCE poles in sensitive areas and the Canebrake Creek Bridge.
