Document Description
The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) includes the cultivation of 10,000 square feet (SF) of mature outdoor cannabis and approximately 4,429 SF of associated support structures located in Trinity County on Assessor’s Parcel Number 011-410-34-00. The applicant is seeking a Small Outdoor Tier 1 Cannabis Cultivation License from the County and currently holds a provisional Specialty Cottage Mixed-Light Tier 1 Medicinal Cannabis Cultivation License from the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC; CCL20-0000577) and will apply for an Adult-Use Small Outdoor Cannabis Cultivation License from the DCC. Existing cannabis cultivation activities include a 30’x83’ (2,490 SF) greenhouse currently used for mature mixed-light canopy. The applicant proposes to create a new cultivation area which would consist of an outdoor garden totaling 10,000 SF. Plants would be grown above-ground in soil bags; no grading or heavy machinery would be required, and no holes would be dug. The greenhouse in which mature cultivation currently takes place would be converted to an immature plant area. Existing cannabis support infrastructure include a 25’x45’ Barn for processing, harvest storage, admin hold; 750-SF cannabis compost area, a 64-SF pesticide and agricultural chemical storage building, a permitted well, and five (5) water storage tanks of various capacities. Power to the parcel is provided by an existing connection to the Trinity Public Utility System, and water to the project site is provided by an existing permitted groundwater well.
