Document Description
The Project encompasses a total area of 17.7 acres and includes stream creation, stream enhancement, floodplain creation, nonnative plant species removal, planting of native riparian plant species, and installation of rock boulders in existing eroded areas. The Project will create and enhance a total of 1.1 acre of stream channel and create approximately 2.1 acre of stream floodplain. Nonnative riparian plant species will be removed/treated and native riparian plant species will be installed within an approximate 10.4-acre area that surrounds the stream channel and floodplain creation/enhancement areas. The Project is anticipated to temporarily impact 5.3 acres of Fish and Game Code section 1602 resources.
