Document Description
CDFW is intending to execute a Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code (# EPIMS-SDO-13606-R5) to the project applicant, Talone Lake Conservancy. The project proposes to temporarily impact 1.0 acre of Diegan coastal sage scrub (staging area), 4.88 acres of freshwater marsh, and 0.12 acre of open water to remove a monoculture of cattails and stagnant water that currently serves as mosquito breeding habitat and allow a mosaic of open water, freshwater marsh, and riparian forest habitat to redevelop.
