Document Description
The City proposed Project included improvements to roads and pipelines, slopes and drainage, lighting and security, and improvements to plant processes, a wash-water recovery facility and chemical feed and storage facilities in the water treatment system. New facilities included electric vehicle charging stations, a new backup generator, and a new reservoir outlet structure building. Facilities planned for replacement included the reservoir outlet structure valve, and the north inlet structure manhole and valve. The boat ramp at the reservoir was also rehabilitated. Specific activities related to the water supply permit include: 1. Installation of permanganate treatment facilities at the Walnut Canyon Reservoir outlet structure. 2. Connecting the wash-water return to Walnut Canyon Reservoir via the 18-inch Concrete Cylinder Pipe (CCP) by-pass line.
