Document Description
The Hillcrest Outpatient Pavilion and Parking Structure project would develop approximately 11 acres of the UC San Diego, Hillcrest Campus, consolidate and expand outpatient services, and strategically replace space and parking facilities as part of the implementation of the 2019 Long Range Development Plan for the Hillcrest Campus approved by the Regents in November 2019. The project would include approximately 251,000 gross square feet of space for an Outpatient Pavilion (OPP) to accommodate hospital-licensed services and programs; structured parking, totaling approximately 1,850 spaces; related utility and infrastructure, including the first phase of a new Central Utility Plant (CUP) to support the OPP and parking structure; widening of Bachman Place; a new road connection at Bachman Place and Arbor Drive to improve campus and community access; a new First Avenue road extension; and bicycle and transit improvements.
