The University is adopting a Resolution of Necessity to file an eminent domain action to acquire real property of vacant land necessary to implement the phased redevelopment of the Hillcrest Campus, as proposed under the 2019 Long Range Development Plan (LRDP). The 2019 LRDP supports comprehensive redevelopment of the Hillcrest campus, including demolition and replacement of the majority of existing buildings with similar uses, reconfiguration of circulation, including ingress and egress, as well as a substantial residential component. Acquisition of the property was included in the 2019 LRDP.
