Document Description
The proposed project is located in the city of Woodlake, CA. The proposed project will implement capacity improvements, as well as repair and replacement of aging sewer system assets. The capacity improvements will be accomplished through upsizing existing lines, either through excavation and replacement with larger diameter lines or utilizing pipe bursting methods. In one instance, installation of a new, parallel trunk line will route flow that would otherwise exceed the capacity of an existing trunk sewer located in Valencia St. The capacity improvements were identified through assessment of computer model simulations, physical investigation, and routine O&M activities. In addition to the capacity improvements the city plans to repair or replace aging infrastructure that is close to the end of it useful life.
