Document Description
The project would update the 2019 RTP-SCS, the long-range transportation plan for San Luis Obispo County, in accordance with state and federal regulations that require the RTP-SCS to be updated every four years. The Addendum to the Final PEIR analyzes proposed modifications in the 2023 RTP-SCS. Copies of the proposed Addendum and the associated reference documents are available for review at SLOCOG, 1114 Marsh Street, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401, or online at: slocog.org/2023RTP SLOCOG is providing opportunity for review and comment of the draft Addendum as part of the public comment period on the 2023 RTP-SCS. The comment period for the proposed Addendum begins on Thursday, February 23, 2023, and ends on Thursday, April 6, 2023, which coincides with the end of the public comment review period for the draft 2023 RTP-SCS. Written comments on the Addendum must be received by 5:00 p.m. on the last day of the review period and should be addressed to: Sara Sanders, Transportation Planner, 1114 Marsh Street, San Luis Obispo, CA, 93401, or by email to SSanders@slocog.org. SLOCOG will hold a public hearing to receive comments on the draft 2023 RTP-SCS and the Addendum on April 5, 2023 at 9AM in the Arroyo Grande City Council Chambers, 215 E. Branch Street, Arroyo Grande. The SLOCOG Board will hold a public hearing to make a decision regarding adoption of the 2023 RTP-SCS, in consideration of the 2019 PEIR and the 2023 Addendum. The hearing is tentatively scheduled for June 7, 2023. Interested persons can access the SLOCOG Board agenda at slocog.org to locate the date of the public hearing for this project.
