Document Description
DWSRF Notice of Determination for SRF Financing Project description: The Project includes the development of a six million gallons per day brackish water desalination to allow for year-round use of the Applicant’s raw water intake from the San Joaquin River. The Project will provide the Applicant with the ability to treat brackish raw water at the Antioch Water Treatment Plant. Currently, the Applicant is unableto utilize the intake year-round due to seasonal degradation of raw water quality from high chloride levels. The Project involves construction of a microfiltration/ultrafiltration system for water pretreatment, two-stage reverse osmosis system, raw water pipeline, brine disposal pipeline, and replacement of the existing intake pump station and fish screen. The Project includes the design and construction of the proposed facilities.
