Document Description
To maintain existing highway facilities, Caltrans proposes to place a 1-inch RH MA overlay on top of the existing pavements well as three feet of shoulder backing. Shoulder backing would not be required in areas with AC dike. In areas of deteriorated pavement, 3 inches of existing pavement would be removed and replaced.
