Document Description
Project would repair and upgrade sidewalks and curb ramps throughout the City of LA. The broad purpose of the proposed project sit o continue and expand implementation of Safe Sidewalks LA, in order to make City pedestrian facilities compliant with applicable accessibility requirements. Existing sidewalks and walkways, and gaps of missing sidewalks, will be repaired or replaced under the proposed Project. Street tree removals and replacements, along with utility relocations may be needed. The proposed project could also adopt an ordinance and/or a policy for street tree preservation, removal and criteria requirements to implement the Sidewalk Repair Program.
