Document Description
The project is the cultivation of cannabis and associated activities on approximately 35 acres of a 68.19-acre parcel and includes approximately 22 acres of cannabis cultivation within hoop structures, 1.5 acres of outdoor cultivation, 6.3 acres of indoor nursery cultivation, composting area, existing access roads, harvest storage, water storage tanks, and other associated infrastructure.
A fence and associated gate will separate the project area from the property adjacent to the Santa Ynez River. Access roads will be set back a minimum of 10 feet, cultivation canopy 50 feet and hoop structures will be set back 100 feet from the unnamed tributary to Santa Ynez River. An existing well (location: latitude 34.61188, longitude -120.21766) will be the sole source of water for the project. The project also includes a single maintenance event at two identified stream impact areas which total 0.02 acre of stream impacts. Removal of vegetation and storm water debris at stream impact areas will occur with hand-operated tools carried into the stream.
