Document Description
The proposed action is a series of amendments to the City's General Plan that include amendments to the Planning Framework (Chapter 3 of the General Plan) relative to: 1. The description of the Low Density Residential General Plan land use designation; 2. The list of Zoning Districts consistent with the General Plan land use designations to add the RD-8, RD-12, RD-18, RD-40, PR, and PS zones; 3. Changing the consistency listing for the RM-1 (Mobile Home Parks) to be listed in the Medium Density Residential General Plan Designation; 4. Location of military facilities in the City; 5. Amendments to the Land Use Plan for two sites as follows: a. APN l 16-0790-005, 8807 Cresswell Court, from Low Density Residential to Public Services b. Properties along the south side of Ocean Lane (4800 to 5030 Ocean Lane) from Low Density Residential to High Density Residential; and 6. Modifications to the Transportation Plan changing the street classification for Mosher Road, Union Park Way, Elkmont Way, and Iron Rock Way from "Local Street" to "Minor Collector."
