Document Description
The area is characterized by chaparral composed of moderate to dense occurrences of Manzanita, mountain mahogany and rabbit brush with highly scattered Ponderosa pine and interior live oak throughout. Elevation ranges from 2,700 feet to 3,200 feet with slopes ranging from 0% to 30%.
The project will involve the installation of a 180-acre shaded fuel break 200 feet wide on each side of a portion of State Highway 97, Big Springs Road and Ordway Road.
