Document Description
The Project consists of the following components:
• At the Lift Station
o Epoxy coating of the interior of the wet well and wet well piping;
o Installation of submersible pumps, floats, electrical cables, and hoist;
o Installation of eight-inch sewer main (i.e., inlet piping to the lift station) and new
manhole on Indian Creek Road, east of Indian Creek Bridge;
o Installation of remote lift station control panel, the main electrical control panels, and
the standby generator on Elk Creek Road;
• Connection of the four-inch force main to the existing gravity sewer via a new drop
manhole (Manhole #2) and a new manhole at the gravity sewer (Manhole #1);
• Equipment/System Testing; and
• Abandonment of siphon chamber and siphon with flowable slurry.
The first phase of the larger project has already been constructed which consisted of the
following components:
• Installation of the four-inch force main inside the bridge;
• Installation the wet well, dry well and piping for the lift station;
• Purchase of the lift station pumps; and
• Installation of conduit under State Highway 96 from the lift station to the main
controls/stand-by generator at Elk Creek Road.
