The proposed project consists of the State Water Board adopting and implementing a regulation that establishes the Max Contaminant Level (also referred to as drinking water standard) for 1,2,3-TCP in drinking water provided by public water systems in CA. The MCL would be applicable statewide, and would reduce the risk of cancer potentially caused by ingestion and inhalation of 1,2,3-TCP.
