Document Description
UC Davis proposes to construct LED lighting at the Phil Swimley Field at Dobbins Stadium and the Aggie Soccer Field to enhance visibility for students, athletes, and spectators, and increase usage of the facilities. Dobbins Stadium and the Aggie Soccer Field are adjacent to each other and located south of Parking Lot 25 and east of the University Credit Union Center. A total of 12 light poles will be installed: eight at the baseball field and four at the soccer field. Each light pole is up to 100 feet in height and will distribute 70 to 80 footcandles of light. A new video scoreboard will be installed and replace the current one residing at the baseball field. The project will also include utility work to update the electrical systems and replace sounds systems.
