Document Description
UC Davis proposes a license agreement with the Oakland Ballers Baseball Club for use of the Dobbins Baseball Stadium (Stadium) for professional minor league baseball games. The license agreement would grant use of the Stadium by the Oakland Ballers Baseball Club for approximately 52 games per year and additional practice sessions from May through September of each year, starting May 2024. The agreement will be in place until September 2028, with an option for an additional 5 years. The agreement stipulates that UC Davis provide physical improvements to the Stadium to allow for night games, which include new field lighting and a new video scoreboard. The capital improvements to the Stadium are proposed to be approved separately and were analyzed in the March 2024 Addendum.
