Document Description
The Project involves the replacement of the existing bridge over Pescadero Creek on Limekiln Road. Actions associated with the Project include: clearing and grubbing; relocation of an underground utility line; installation of a temporary stream diversion; installation of a temporary traffic detour; bridge demolition; pile driving; bridge construction; relocation of a drainage ditch; approach roadway work; construction of bioretention swales; grading; placement of rock slope protection; and on-site restoration activities. The Project will result in the permanent and temporary loss of 1.85 acres of California tiger salamander (Ambystoma californiense) habitat and is expected to result in incidental take of the species, which is designated as a threatened under the California Endangered Species Act. The ITP referenced above as issued by CDFW authorizes incidental take of species listed under CESA that may occur as a result of Project implementation.
