Document Description
The Elsinore Valley water District converted Well 2A and 3A frm agricultural wells to domestic water wells. The conversion involved installing sand separrators anf two 30 horsepower well pumps. A 12-foot tall 2,400 square-foot booster pump station was installed within the project area. A chlorination system, including a sodium hypochlorite tank, a steel chlorine contact tank, ammonia storage, chemical feed metering systems, mixers, and associated piping was added to the system. A 100-foot long, 12-inch pipe was laid to connect the system to booster pump station. A 140 foot long pipe was installed to connect the booster pump station to the Temescal Valley pipeline. A 220-foot long, 18-inch diameter piping was also installed from the catch basin/storm basin drain inlet at the water treatment plant to an existing storm drain for well flushing. The Project will provide for the operation of the system.
