Document Description
The Applicant proposes the development of 380 residential units, approximately 48.9 acres of permanent open space with active greenbelts, 3.5 acres of parks, 4.0 miles of walking trails, and recreational, social, and community amenities in a Village Center. The development will occur on the former Escondido Country Club golf course, which ceased operations in April 2013. Prior to the golf course, the Project site was subject to agricultural use. There are no existing land uses at the Project site; the site is currently vacant and composed primarily of non-native vegetation and remnant developments from the former golf course.
