Document Description
The project proposes construction and operation of a solar energy generation facility on approximately 17.9 acres of land located within the SMER. The project would be installed over an approximately six-month construction phase. Operation is planned for a period of approximately 20 years, and then the facilities would be removed and the site would be restored with native habitat when the center is decommissioned and removed. The proposed project is anticipated to generate 6,955,643 kWh of power per year. The proposed project would use conventional polycrystalline photovoltaic modules with an anti-reflective surface. Generated electricity would be connected to the energy grid via an existing Southern California Edison distribution line that runs along the eastern site boundary.
