Note: Review Per Lead The City of Redding is proposing improvement to its sewer and storm drain infrastructure in west Redding. The system is aging which results in elevated levels of ground water and storm water intrusion, inflow and infiltration. The project replaces or adds 7,000 ft of new sewer pipe, lines 11,000 ft. of existing sewer pipe, adds and rehabilitates manholes, and replaces and existing storm drain ditch in an alley with new buried storm drain pipe. All work will occur in existing streets, alleys, and easements, except approx. 900 feet of new line will be placed in an undeveloped area. construction is proposed to being in late Summer 2016.
