- CDFW has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2016-0215-R4, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Kings River Conservation District. The project includes the construction of a new water control structure in the Fresno slough Bypass at the connection with Main Canal (Terranova Canal), and diversion of flow via the water control structure for irrigation and groundwater recharge purposes, using a system of canals over approx. 6,000 acres of existing farmland.
