The Project involves the subdivision of a 16.88-acre parcel outside of California State Lands Commission jurisdiction, for the creation of 30 lots, consisting of 29 lots for single-family homes and one open space lot. The Project area is adjacent to the Burton Mesa Ecological Reserve under the jurisdiction of the Commission and includes proposed mitigation measures within the Reserve for planting and maintenance of oak trees, maritime chaparral habitat, and sensitive plant species. The Commission’s action is an approval of a 10-year General Lease – Other through October 23, 2029.
