Document Description
The project includes twenty two encroachments. Four encroachments are for water diversion projects including removal of old intakes, and installation of new micro-hydro power generation system. Water will be diverted from up to two Class II streams. Work for the water diversion projects include removal of two cisterns, installation of a new micro hydro system, use and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure as needed as backup to groundwater well. Eighteen additional encroachments are proposed to upgrade, replace, or improve road/stream crossings or impacts to Class II and III watercourses. Work for these projects will include excavation, removal of fill installation of new culverts, placement of rock armoring, revegetation, and erosion control as necessary to minimize erosion.
