Document Description
Project is limited to six encroachments. One encroachment is for water diversion from an unnamed tributary to Elk Creek. Water is diverted for domestic use. Work for the water diversion will include modification, use, and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure. The five other proposed encroachments are to maintain an existing 48" culvert, replace an undersized 8" culvert with an 18" culvert, install a new 24" culvert, install a rocked ford across an existing skid trail, and remediate a disturbed spring. Work for these stream crossing encroachments will include excavation, backfilling and compaction of fill, applying straw to disturbed areas, rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion, and realigning a Class III stream away from the inside ditch of a road back to the natural channel.
