- Document Description
- CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2017-0397-R1, pursuant Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Mr. Jade Hass. Project is limited to 9 encroachments. Encroachment 1 is for water diversion from a spring hydrologically connected to South Fork Eel River. Existing diversion infrastructure is an 18-diameter by 24-inch deep concrete cistern. The existing cistern will be replaced with a 12" diameter by 24" deep cistern. Water is diverted for domestic use only. Work for the water diversion will include replacement, use and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure. Water is not diverted from existing ponds on the property. A well was disclosed as the source of irrigation water. The remaining eight encroachments are to upgrade failing and undersized culverts, and install a new culvert. Work for these encroachments will include excavation, removal of the failing culverts, replacement with new properly sized culverts, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion.
