The Project is limited to seven encroachments. Four encroachments are to upgrade existing culverts. Work for these encroachments will include excavation, removal of the existing culverts, replacement with new properly sized culverts, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion. One encroachment is for the removal of a point of water diversion (POD) infrastructure and backfilling of the structure space with clean, washed rock. Two proposed encroachments will implement restoration, revegetation, and mitigation for stream banks and an associated structure built within the streamside management area (SMA).
