Document Description
The Project is limited to fourteen encroachments. Three encroachments are for water diversions (two from offset shallow wells and one on-stream pond). Water is diverted for domestic use from POD-A and POD-B1/B2 and irrigation is sourced from POD-C/Pond-3. Work for the water diversion will include use and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure. The eleven other proposed encroachments are to upgrade existing culverts, install rock armored fords, construct pond spillways, and decommission a pond. Work for these encroachments will include excavation, removal of the existing culverts, replacement with new properly sized culverts, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion. Work will also include engineered plans and construction activities for construction of spillways and decommissioning of a failing pond.
