Document Description
The Project is limited to one encroachment. The encroachment is for the removal of an undersized concrete bridge with a failed squash culvert within. A hydrologic study has confirmed a properly sized culvert would not be feasible at this location so a small bridge will be utilized to maximize the flow passage and eliminate potential issues with clogging. Permittee shall install a small bridge that spans beyond the banks (sized as twelve feet long and eight feet wide), eliminating the need for any permanent bridge infrastructure within the channel. The current channel is approximately seven feet wide and will not be altered besides rock armoring. Erosion control measures shall be applied to the bed, banks, and channel. Newly removed material shall be rock armored in the channel and bank as necessary.
