Document Description
The Project is limited to seven (7) encroachments. Six encroachments are to upgrade road/stream crossings with existing culverts. Work for these encroachments will include excavation, removal of the existing culverts, replacement with new properly sized culverts, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion. The final encroachment is to remediate stream pollution location where road grading activities have pushed fill into the stream channel. Work will include removal of the fill, hydrologic disconnection of the road, and application of straw mulch to minimize delivery of any fine grain sediment. Spoils will be utilized in the construction of culvert installation at Crossing-1.
