Document Description
The project is limited to five encroachments. Three proposed encroachments improve road/stream crossings. Two crossings will be upgraded to remove existing failing and undersized culverts and install new culverts.
Work for these encroachments will include excavation, removal of the existing culverts, replacement with new properly sized culverts, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion. A third crossing will
be decommissioned and will have the stream channel realigned to the natural configuration prior to alteration. Two additional encroachments will remove onstream ponds constructed without permits or engineering. Pond remediation will follow the details in the Notification
