Document Description
The project is limited to the replacement of two undersized culverts with one 36” culvert, requiring the excavation and temporary displacement of soil 16-feet long x 6 feet wide x 5-feet deep, as well as the installation of headwalls and/or rock slope protection. After placing the new culvert, all removed sediment will be backfilled, compacted, and returned to its preexisting grade. Temporary Water Diversion. If water is present during construction activities, a temporary water diversion plan will be implemented to route water within the stream around the locations where in stream work will be conducted. Methods used for water diversion will be temporary and site will be restored to preexisting conditions upon the completion of construction. No work will occur within standing or flowing water.
