Document Description
The project is limited to two encroachments. The first encroachment shall reconstruct and upgrade the overspill of an onstream pond. In its current configuration the overspill misdirects streamflow from its natural channel; the new design shall convey all downstream flow to the natural channel. Work for this encroachment will include excavation, installation of a spillway sized to convey the 100-year flow, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion. The second encroachment shall improve an informal dirt-fill stream-crossing that impedes and impounds stream flow. Work for this encroachment will include excavation, installation of a culvert sized to convey the 100-year flow, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion.
