The project is limited to 2 encroachments on unnamed tributaries to the Eel River. One encroachment is for water diversion for domestic use and irrigation. Work for the water diversion will include modification to existing infrastructure and use and maintenance of the water diversion. The other encroachment is to upgrade a short and undersized culvert. Work for these encroachments will include some or all of the following: excavation, culvert removal, culvert replacement, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion.
