- Document Description
- The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2018-0769-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Iris Carpenter. The project consists of three encroachment(s): Two projects are for the restoration of unnamed tributaries to Elk Creek. Work for these projects include removal of unpermitted buildings using a bulldozer and dumpsters, removal of several small trees (no greater than 12" diameter), decommissioning of access roads, restoration of affected stream channels and erosion control. One encroachment is to stabilize a failing fill-slope of a constructed pond that has encroached on a Class III stream, tributary to Elk Creek. Work includes excavation, recompaction of fill material, and placement of approximately 75 yards of rock slope protection on the fill slope, keyed in three feet into the original ground to minimize erosion.
