Document Description
The project is limited to 2 encroachments. One encroachment is for water diversion from a spring from unnamed tributaries to Browns Canyon Stream, tributary to Van Duzen River, tributary to Eel River. Water is diverted for domestic use only. Work for the water diversion will include use and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure. The other proposed encroachment is to upgrade a failing and undersized culvert. Work for this encroachment will include excavation, removal of the failing culvert, replacement with new properly sized culvert, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion. A pond diversion was described as the water source used for irrigation of agriculture on the subject parcel. This water diversion is subject to 1600 notification but is not covered under this LSAA.
