Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed LSAA No. 1600-2019-0926-R 1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Peter Genolio. The project consists of seven encroachment(s). One encroachment is for water diversion from an Unnamed Tributary to Mattole Canyon Creek. Water is diverted for domestic use and irrigation. Work for the water diversion will include facility retrofit, use, and maintenance. Five encroachments are to upgrade road stream crossings. Work for these encroachments include excavation, infrastructure removal (as applicable), replacement with new culverts (as applicable), backfilling and compaction of fill , and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion. One encroachment is to decommission a road stream crossing. Work for this encroachment includes, excavation, removal of crossing infrastructure, recontouring, erosion control, and tree planting.
