Document Description
The project is limited to seven encroachments. Two encroachments are for water diversion from unnamed tributaries to Tom Long Creek. POD-1 is located on an adjacent parcel (APN 216-073-009, Owner: Liam Austin) not evaluated for this Agreement. Water is diverted from POD-1 and stored for fire suppression. POD-2 is located on parcel 216-073-002. Water is diverted for domestic use. Work for the water diversions will include infrastructure upgrades and use and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure. The five other proposed encroachments are to upgrade failing or non-compliant stream crossings. Work for these encroachments will include excavation, installation of new properly sized culverts, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion.
