Document Description
The project is limited to three encroachments. The first encroachment is to remediate an onstream pond constructed without permits. The remediation work will remediate the Class II stream channels that were excavated as part of the pond construction and reconnect the hydrology from the upper headwater streams to the disconnected channel below the pond. Work for this encroachment will include removal of the pond liner, pond dewatering, grading, compaction, revegetation, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion. Two additional encroachments are proposed to decommission road/stream crossings. Work for these encroachments will include excavation, removal of a failing culvert, channel shaping to match the geometry of the natural channel area and slope, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion.
