Document Description
Project includes twenty eight encroachments on five parcels. Twenty one road/stream crossings will be upgraded to improve stream conveyance and reduce erosion. Work for these encroachments will include excavation, removal of the old culverts, replacement with new culverts, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion. Two sites will be remediated to mitigate impacts associated with unpermitted stream alteration. Five other sites will permit jurisdictional water diversion. These diversions include two diversions from hydrologically connected springs, one diversion from an offset well adjacent to Salmon Creek, one diversion from a hydrologically connected pond, and one non-consumptive diversion to be used in micro-hydro power generation.
