Water is diverted for domestic use, irrigation, and micro-hydro power generation. Work for the water diversion will include improvements, use, and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructures. The three other proposed encroachments are to perform work associated with stream crossing areas. Work for crossing-1 will include preparation and implementation of a stream restoration plan. Work for crossing-4 will include removal of historic water lines in the stream. Work for crossing-7 will include excavation, removal of the failing stream crossing, replacement with new properly sized culvert, backfilling and compaction of fill , and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion.
