Document Description
The project consists of 8 encroachments: The first project is removal of an earthen dam and associated work outlined in Stream Restoration and Remediation Plan. The 2 existing crossings will be decommissioned by removing stream crossing fills, associated drainage structures, and eliminating the risk of sediment delivery. Other 4 encroachments are to upgrade failing crossings by installing rock filled fords or improve or add critical dips, and the removal of one point of diversion's infrastructure. Work for these 4 encroachments will include excavation, removal of the failing culverts, replacement with new properly sized culverts, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion. The Notification also discloses the use of a well located at Lat/Long 40.42051 , -123.6874. This well is presented as the sole source of water for all needs on the property.
