- The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0040-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Ms. Rachelle Haug. The project is limited to four (4) encroachments. One encroachment is for water diversion from China Creek. Water is diverted for domestic use only (including irrigation of vegetable and ornamental gardens). Work for the water diversion will include removal of existing water diversion infrastructure, installation of water diversion infrastructure consistent with the terms of the Agreement and use and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure. One encroachment is for maintenance and rock armoring of an existing culvert. One encroachment is for replacement of an existing undersized culvert, Work for this encroachment will include excavation, removal of the failing culverts, replacement with new properly sized culverts, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion. One encroachment is for removal of unused water diversion infrastructure in China Creek.
