- The project is limited to five (5) encroachments (Table 1). One encroachment is for water diversion from an unnamed tributary to Leggett Creek. Water is diverted for domestic use and irrigation. Work for the water diversion will include use and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure. The four other proposed encroachments are to upgrade undersized culverts. Work for these encroachments will include excavation, removal of the existing culverts, replacement with new properly sized culverts, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion.

The project is located in Section 28, T 03S, R 03E, Humboldt Base and Meridian; in the Miranda U.S. Geological Survey 7.5-minute quadrangle; Assessor's Parcel Nos: 212-011-005, 212-011-006, 212-012-002; latitude/longitude: 40.1714, -123.8545 at the point of diversion (POD).
