- Document Description
- The project is limited to four encroachments. One encroachment is for water diversion from an unnamed tributary to Mattole Canyon Creek. Water is diverted for domestic use and irrigation. Work for the water diversion will include use and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure. The three other proposed encroachments are to conduct instream work to: 1) remove debris from a stream (FGC 5652), 2) decommission a stream crossing, and 3) install a culvert. Work for these encroachments will include debris removal, excavation, removal of the failing culverts, replacement with new culverts, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion.
