Document Description
The project consists of 8 encroachment(s): The first proposed encroachment is the establishment of a water diversion system from a spring. Water will be diverted for domestic use. Work for the water diversion will include installation, use and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure. There are three existing ponds on the parcel. Work for these ponds include maintenance, use and diversion for agricultural irrigation. There are five stream crossings. Details and proposed work for the existing culverts listed below (Table. 1). Work for these encroachments will include excavation, removal of the failing culverts, replacement with new properly sized culverts, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion. Details for the proposed upgrades and recommendations agreed to by CDFW can be referenced in the project Notification.

approximately 5.6 miles southwest of the town of Mad River, County of Humboldt, State of California. The project is located in Section 34, T1 N, RSE, Humboldt Base and Meridian; in the Dinsmore U.S. Geological Survey 7.5-minute quadrangle.
