Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2017-0377-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Mr. Kamaal Owen.
The project is limited to six (6) encroachments. Four (4) encroachments are for water diversion from unnamed tributaries to Chamise Creek. Water is diverted for domestic use and irrigation. Work for the water diversions will include use and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure. Two (2) proposed encroachments are to upgrade a pond spillway, and to replace a stream crossing culvert. Work for these encroachments will include excavation, removal of materials (including fill, old culverts, etc.); replacement with new, properly sized crossings, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion.
